Subscriptions are the best way to drink espy coffee. All subs are monthly plans, billed on the 1st and shipped on the first Tuesday of the month. Shipping is not included in the base price, and there's currently an $8 flate-rate charge that you'll see in the cart (the first shipping charge will be applied to your first shipment). We do have a free lock-box pickup option for folks near Ann Arbor, MI! We've included general lifestyle guides for each option, but don't worry about making the perfect choice right away - you'll be able to jump between plans whenever (through an easy online portal). Our curated rotating "espy favorite" ships subscribers each new coffee we bring in, vac-sealed and ready to brew.
Around 90% of our coffee is sold through subscriptions. This is unusually high for a roaster, and it's this way because subscriptions are our top priority! Supporting us through subscribing gives us enough certainty to build lasting relationships with our importer and coffee producer friends, allowing us to commit to coffee projects we truly believe in.
We know that coffee is political, so we work with like-minded folks focused on the liberation of working people, fighting coffee's legacy as just another tool of exploitation. Supporting people that take pride in their work, care for their land and for others is the obvious move if you believe in building an egalitarian future - but it also means the coffee we roast is delicious. Thanks to folks up and down the value chain doing the best jobs they can, we're able to carry some of the most special coffees that specialty coffee has to offer.

After a year of subscribing (12 orders) under any plan, your subscription orders will receive a 25% discount on the retail price indefinitely.
